My name is Dawn and Dawn's Woodcraft Designs was born in 2021.

My partner and best friend in life, John, bought me a lathe as a Christmas present fast forward a few scary months and a lesson or two, the shavings and the items were starting to build up. My workshop is growing and the ideas keep flying (the postie must know when I have a new idea due to the number of parcels turning up).

My workshop is situated just outside Huntly in quite a cold and draughty shed, although my ideas to keep the chill off amuse all of my family members.

All of my items are handmade. All are unique. And yes I'm just one small person from the North East of Scotland so custom orders can take a wee bit of time until I am fully happy with them, I will not sell anything I am not fully happy with myself. I do have a real job which unfortunately means I am away from my beloved lathe (don't tell John) for extended periods of time. All stock items are available to purchase at any time and I have provisions in place for items to be shipped whilst I'm away.
